In this time, it is common to see error or problem in our Androids apps, especially in Google play store. When we trying to download apps, the Play Store crashes or simply won’t open, we have the solutions. Here are some tips you can do when Google Store doesn’t work for you.

So in this article, I am going to tell you a few methods, with these methods you can fix Google Play Store error.

FIX GOOGLE PLAY STORE ERRORS (GOOGLE PLAY STORE NOT WORKING)

1. Troubleshooting guide – getting started

First of all, you should make sure that this is only a minor problem not a major with Google store. There are no. of sites which help to know about the status of google store and errors in it, like downdetector, is one of them. If a lot of users are reporting a similar problem, then chances are it’s on Google’s side and you’ll need to wait for them to fix it.

If you think or have doubt that the problem is users end, first you must restart your mobile phone and check it fixes the error or not. In many cases restarting mobile solves most of the common issues and it is the only fastest way to short out errors. If your problem is same as before, then it’s time to read this article carefully.

Before staring further steps, check your internet connection is working fine, date and time settings are correct.

2. Check Google apps

check google play store is working, if not then close it from taskbar and force stop it by going to Settings > Apps > All select the Google Play Store and hit “Force stop”.

Then you have to check google play store is up-to-date and clean.This involves making sure you have the latest version of Google Play installed. If still facing same problem clean cookies and caches of play store it will surely help you or at last just clear your play store data.

If there’s still an issue after the Play Store has been cleaned up, the next option is to reset your whole mobile phone. It will make your phone same as new one. Take a Backup of your Passwords, contacts, messages, mail ids, photos, music, apps data, and etc.

NOTE:- Resetting Mobile phone will wipe out your entire data on your device so, better to take a backup before resetting your cell.

3. Check third-party apps

Sometimes the problem can originate from a different, related app, that may be collapsing with Google Store. You should check your disabled apps because many apps need other apps in order to function properly. If you disabled any app enables it > go to your Settings and Application manager or Apps and scroll to the bottom and check error may be fixed. If you see any disabled app there just click on enable and check if it helps.

4. Best Solution

If you have rooted mobile phone then you have nailed it just delete the file “hosts.txt” in your system directory, this method always works for me.

If you don’t wish to root your mobile phone then go to settings and uninstall the latest version of system app and check now.
